Cyber bullying and Privacy are inter connected

 Post 5:
Cyber bullying and privacy are inter connected
Cyber bullying is becoming common nowadays because of privacy and security issues in virtual world. Victims are bullied because of their negligence on the social media accounts or if they share their passwords with others. Most of the experts recommend tip sheets for teens, children and adults but if we talk about future it will be continuing in 2030 as the experts researched that future innovations will make online privacy worst by 2030 than now (Hooijdonk, 2014, para 2) means Cyberbullying will not come to end in next ten years that will impact on the personal relationships. Hooijdonk explained that in 2030 there will be a small group of people who will not use social media sites because of privacy concerns (Hooijdonk, 2014, para. 4). It is true that to stay in virtual world, it is important to share the things publicly with others for making connections and when it comes to privacy concerns, it is thoughtful for online friendship which can be done through “100 % transparency” or “100% Privacy” that will provide a secure world (Cohen, 2014. Para 7). In transparency people will share every part of their lives with others whereas in privacy their accounts will be secured and managed by the companies. In both cases it will effect on interpersonal personal relationships. It is possible that in 2030, there will be a “post Facebook” and “post Google” world in which they will not required to use social media sites and they will be connecting others through their smart phone apps (Cohen, 2014, para. 7).  All in all, privacy issues can be dominated by social media companies in 2030 (Cohen, 2014, para. 10) that would be helpful for lessening the Cyberbullying in 2030 and effect on their personal relationships.

Cyber-bullying impact negatively to younger generation

Post 5

The usage of social media is inescapable, and people are becoming addicted to it. Undoubtedly some are using it actively while others are using it passively, but “the passive usage of the social media is not good such as scrolling passively on social media sites rather than engaging ourselves in real-life relationships” (5 ways social media will change employees by 2030, 2017). As the younger generation is getting more engaged in technology, so they are facing the worst situations. The usage of social media among the young generation is too high so “children who will be born in 2030, they would not be able to expect the world which was without the technology” (5 ways social media will change employees by 2030, 2017). Moreover, the excessive usage of social media causes some issues such as cyber-bullying. The cyber-bullying will impact more negatively to the younger generation and it will make harder for the victims to come out of the situation as well as it will be difficult for parents and teachers to spot the situation of their children in 2030 (5 ways social media will change employees by 2030, 2017). Cyber-bullying and its negative impacts will continue to grow up at a higher rate which could life threatening and there will not be quick solutions to fix that problem.

Cyberbullying in near Future

Cyber bullying is one of the main concerns in the present generation. Cyber bullying negatively influences on all ages, races and gender of people. Everyday news of innocent victims become headlines of the newspapers. It seems that judgement, meanness, nasty posts, abusive language are never ending periods (Hoffman, 2016, para.1). People are aware that when they mean to other people and intentionally hurt their sentiments with mental and physical torture. So, why it won’t stop? Why people keep doing this hurtful act of spoiling others life with abusive behaviours (Hoffman, 2016, para.2). The author Hoffman asked these questions to the readers and predicts that is appears that cyber bullying will not stop in the near future. According to recent research, almost 30% of teens have been victimised   due to bullies. It does not mean that adults were excluded in this study. Adults were also bullied on some form of cyberbullying such as dislike messages through instant messaging or social media sites (Hoffman, 2016, para.3).
As mentioned in the article the definition and sequences of the cyber bullying could be different for each individual. some might take it as humour, or some might trigger to do suicide (Hoffman, 2016, para.4).  it is very hard to halt cyber bullying. If cyberbully receives appreciation from their peers, they kept on doing that hurtful bullies as encouraged to do. In the same way, if victim surrender to that unacceptable behaviours, it signals to the cyberbully to continue their misbehaviour. It is very important to raise voice for yourself and stood against all these bullies (Hoffman, 2016, para.5). In near future, if we want to stop bullies, we have to act immediately to shut down this unwanted and disrespectful behaviour. Parents and other Signiant’s in life can teach children to raise their voice against this cybercrime (Hoffman, 2016, para.10). It is expected that by 2030, cyberbullying will continue to hurt people as these are future predictions and it could be change if one take initiative to stop bullies. We should teach children to be kid to others and ask for help from their adults when needed (Hoffman, 2016, para.11).

Cyber-bullying will impact more personally

Post 4

We have seen a significant change in social media since 2010. In the past few years, people were more attracted to some of the social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Yahoo. Since then there is a huge number of social media sites that have been discovered and got a huge response from the public (Wellons, 2014). Nowadays even the younger generation is more aware of these sites and is in contact with their useful ways. As every coin has two sides these social networking sites are very useful but have some negative impacts as well. As these social networking sites are getting huge response nowadays and expecting more developed technologies which can change human life significantly in 2030. As an individual nowadays share each and everything about their routines on these social sites such as Instagram and snap chat. We are expecting more of these kinds of social networking technological gadgets as a wearable device (Wellons, 2014). These wearable devices can track and trace an individual’s physical activities and can be a part of huge and harmful cyber-bullying. Which will be life-threatening in 2030. This cyber-bullying will be even worse in 2030. Cyber-bullying is having a negative impact as this will affect life in more personal ways such as personal relationships and communications in 2030.
