Due to revolution in social media and escalation in its use, many negative consequences are becoming
a point of concern. One of them is cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is an issue in which a person's life
and his relationships are getting impacted the most (Garett et al. 2016, p.1). As every age group is
actively participate on social media, so every age group is facing the consequences such as mental
health issues, developmental issues or even people are committing suicides, thus, directly affecting
the personal lives of every generation (Garett et al. 2016, p.1). Health consequences occurring in
teenagers and adolescents are leaving a bad impact on their parents, thus social media is changing
relationships and will continue to change in 2030 (Garett, et al. 2016, p.1). Apart from this, cyber
bullying is giving birth to abusive behaviour (Garett et al. 2016, p.1). On social media, a lot of
people are leading to use abusive language and others are adapting this behavior which is changing
our society and relationship status, will continue is 2030 (Garett et al. 2016, p.1). She identified that
depression is an issue which is going to increase with the increase in cyberbullying (Garett et al. 2016
, p.1). It is becoming a disorder and can not be controlled until the use of social media is reduced
(Garett et al. 2016, p.1). Studies say that in the next few years instead of decreasing the use of social
media will be reached at its peak, which is bringing the issue of depression among all the generations,
thus changing personal relationships in today's world(Garett et al. 2016, p.1). All in all, cyber bullying
will be one of the reasons of affecting personal relationships in 2030 on social media.

  1. Hello Veerinder,
I read your post and I agree with your content that people of all ages are actively participating in social media sites, so many of the people are facing cyber-bullying and it is impacting them negatively such as on their emotional health. This is not only limited to the victims only, but their parents and their personal relationships are also affected.
You also talked about the future consequences of the cyber-bullying and you how it will grow up continuously in the coming decade. I believe that cyber-bullying will not end all together with in coming decade, but it would be good if some measure will be taken to control it. So, I will recommend a link which will explain the same.
