Due to access use of social media sites, humans are becoming more addicted to devices rather than
getting connected with people (hooijdonk, 2016, para. 1). In today’s world, people find their
companions, partners through virtual world before actually meeting with them (hooijdonk, 2016, para.
1). We can’t recognize the  person on the other end , with whom we are talking, whether he is telling
the truth or not (hooijdonk, 2016, para. 1). This virtual world is unable to give us an insight into the
personality of person so, those matches done by internet will continue to directly affect personal
relationships in 2030 (hooijdonk, 2016, para. 1). Due to sophisticated technology, relation is getting
more stronger between man and technology (robots made by man) (hooijdonk, 2016, para. 2). Because
of this advancement, humans are more likely to find robots as partners in 2030 or in future because in
today’s world everyone is getting addicted to their devices (hooijdonk, 2016, para. 2). Human is making
robots by putting characters of human in it, so they can be done any online activity (hooijdonk, 2016,
para. 2). If we consider online dating, this trend is rapidly increasing, so you might be chatting with
robots in 2030 (hooijdonk, 2016, para. 2). Humans can change robots according to their preferences,
likes or dislikes, so, there might be a trend in 2030 to find robot as perfect match with the help of social
media sites (hooijdonk, 2016, para. 2). Because you can make a robot like you, people will not need to
change themselves according to other person. So, artificial intelligence of online dating sites can help
you to find perfect matches, so in 2030 people will prefer to be robot rather than with humans, which
leads to increased differences in personal relationships (hooijdonk, 2016, para. 5). Robots will take a
specific place on social media sites in terms of active participation which will diminish the personal
relationships (hooijdonk, 2016, para. 6).

  1. Hello Veerinder,
I agree with you nowadays people find their partners online and make relationships with them in which social media sites skype, Facebook, Instagram play an important role for building relationships and making connections. I agree with that in this virtual world it is difficult to trust on people as the report shows that 53% of the people lie on their social media accounts (Rogers, 2019, para. 3) but in 2030 people would not ditch others on social media accounts (Rogers, 2019, para. 2). It is because it will more advanced than now. In 2030, people would be able to spend more facetime that will help them to build trustworthy and satisfied relationships (Rogers, 2019, para. 6). It is exciting to know about those changes in 2030 that will help to make trustworthy online relationships with others without meeting them. I would like to suggest you an article that depicts on the census in 2030 about online dating. The link is given below:
