Post 4 -
The sheer volume of material on social media platforms makes it an immense challenge for the AEC to monitor political advertising.
social media has changed the world in various ways. Now relationships are also getting affected with
the access use of social media. Data classified the number of users which are 1.3 billion users on
facebook and 270 million on twitter, it explains  how powerful is social media (Wellons, 2014, para. 4)?
It is inevitable that if so many people are active on social media and will continue to do it, personal
relationships will get changed in both positive and negative ways (Wellons, 2014, para. 4). In provided
link there are predictions by some of the experts towards social media in 2030. Kimzey (social media
strategist) identified that people have the power of decision making due to social media and the
thermostats on social media knows about us like what we want, our preferences and data we usually
browse. In upcoming time our interactions will decrease with people from each genre  because we will
be able to choose what content we want, from whom we want and when we want. Also, an opportunity
to choose the friends and partners will reduce our face to face interactions as we can stay in touch with
them online (Kimzey, 2014, para. 13). Moreover, Melody Kramer, NPR Digital strategist and editor at
NPR(2014) states that social media is becoming an important part of human’s life as we are considering
it as a part of us with each passing day (para. 15). she said this trend will be increasing day by day,
until 2030 people will be more addicted to meet people online instead, meeting face to face, thus, it will
harm personal relationships in 2030 (Kramer, 2014, para 15). She describes, in 2030 social media will
be considered as fabric of our clothes which can affect our personal relationships directly, because of
social media will be more important for you then relationships will get affected automatically (Kramer
, 2014, para 15).
