Nowadays people spend most of their time on the internet, social media accounts. In the past, they were physically available for their partners, children and families where they could listen to them and talk with them. But in today’s era, people communicate fast and easily with others who are far from them than before especially they communicate less face to face and more through social media accounts (AIB,2016, para.7). It will continue in the future as well where people will talk through social media accounts in 2030 and communicate online through various social media accounts and websites. It would be difficult to make trustworthy relationships with others as people will have less face to face communication in 2030 (AIB, 2016, para. 2). Sometimes, it is possible that clear and concise information is misread and misunderstood by others whereas face to face conversation is far better as there are less chances of miscommunication (AIB, 2016, para.6). Nowadays, people interact in both ways face to face as well as on social media accounts. But it is possible that relationships will be less trustworthy due to the online world where people will do online dating and they will completely contact with machines. Marko Krajnovic said that, “people will speak and communicate using nothing but their thoughts” means they would be able to read each other’s thinking without communication (Nauman, 2018, para. 4). All in all, in 2030 it is possible that there will be less face to face communication which will impact on personal relationships.

  1. Hello Sandeep,
I realise your post is very engaging and compulsive. I agree with your thoughts that nowadays people are very busy on social media. People like to use their spare time on social media by sharing and liking comments and post. In past people invest their free time with children and family. But in present society, social media has taken this advantage from people and make them slaves of technology particularly social media. As you said people will continue to use social media communication over physical in person communication is very intriguing information. I would like to share an interesting article to extend your post by adding some information. In this article author has discussed about block chain of social media that how users will get access to other people information and how social media will take communication to the next level.

  2. Hello sandeep, this post gives me an opprotunity to think about future communications becuase these days communication through scoial media sites by using smartphones or other devices is overtaking the fashion of communicating face to face. In 2030 how society will look like where phones will have the importance than individuals. It is connected to our research which is how personal relationships will change in 2030 by social media. This information in post is giving an answer that elimination of face to face interactions will increase the distances between people and their cirlces.
